I've seen a couple gyms around Juan station but don't know anything about them.
Right now I'm going to great gym that isn't crowded, has heat in the winter, aircon in the summer, a heated shower room with hot water, it isn't closed on random days of the week/month, and a nice staff. It isn't that far from Juan but it isn't really close either. Pm if you want directions. |

There's one on the block that is perpendicular to the south plaza (the one with the fountain) of the station. If you're facing away from the station, walk down the block and it's on the right. It's on the 5th floor and called Union 24 (I think). It's past a few of the hair salons, so only a 3 or 4 minutes walk from the station. It was okay, but nothing fancy. I'd rather pay more for something open every day (it's closed Sundays, the day I prefer to work out most), and the ellipticals suck (a main reason that I left).
Just another block further, on the left side of the street, there's another gym that's open every day, but it looked even worse. I'd be willing to pay more if I could find a posh gym near me. One with machines that don't look like they came from the 1950s. |

What were the fees? Amenities? Nice ellipticals? Open 7 days? I'm looking for a new gym. |

The equipment was nice and well maintained. They had just started to remodel their locker rooms when I left almost 4 years ago. I think the fees were around 40,000 a month, but it's very hard to remember. I'd assume it would be higher by now. As did most gyms they had an option where you could get 3, 6 or 12 months at a reduced rate for paying ahead. The best way would to be drop in and check it out. |
