Hi,
I have been in Korea for 2 and 1/2 years. My husband is Korean (we recently just got married, and we are having a baby at the end of July. I am looking for some kind of support. I feel so alone being a western girl having a baby in Korea. Is there anyone else out there? |

www.afek.info
There are other western women with children on the site. Just have to supply proof of f-2 and you can get all the info you need. |

Feel free to pm me too, I am due in August! I will be here for another year and my husband isn't Korean. That expatparents site mentioned above is helpful. |

I may be back in Korea soon. My son is 10 months old. I was pregnant up until 5 months in Korea, then went home to the USA.
make sure to order your English copy of 'what to expect when you're expecting', get plenty of rest, and go to the doctor.
congratulations and good luck! |

I second fugitive chicken's suggestion - join the forum! There are quite a few foreign moms with Korean husbands on the board. Most of the women I know are from the Canada, quite a few from the U.S., UK, and other countries, as well. There are people from all over, from Incheon to Jeju-do. There are Korean-Western couples, International Couples, Single Parent Families. Lots of information for every kind of family, and there are meet-ups every now and then. I think there is even a 2011 due date club. ^_^ |

AFEK is an awesome site, I've only been a member for a couple of days and i can say i enjoy it very much. The information, insight and experience of other F-class Expats is really awesome over there. Give it a shot. |
