What do you consider "cheap"?
I usually stay at the Queen Hotel in the Incheon Airport Village. It's like 80k a night, but it's nice and convenient. There are a bunch of other hotels in the village too.
There's also the Spa on Air in the actual airport. You can arrange to have a (mostly) private room for around 55k. I've heard mixed reviews about how much sleep you can get at that place though. |

Yikes, Spa on Air went up to 55,000 won? I paid like 31,000 last August for a small bed in a tiny room with a reading light. I guess I'd pay $50 to sleep in a bed within walking distance of my 10am flight not to mention a 2 minute walk from a great cup of over priced coffee without worrying about getting to the airport on time. How many airports have a real sleeping area? |

80,000 is way too much money. 50 is what I was thinking. OK, 55 is tops.
You mean to tell me that a jin-ja-bang (spelling?) cost 55,000 a night? That is not cheap. But my flight is 8:55 and I would rather stay there then chance the first airport bus. |

Just did an overnight at the airport Sauna and it was pretty decent. It really depends on what kind of stay you are looking for. If you want an actual bed/cot and private "room" then I think it is around 50,000 (depending on what time you get there, 15-20,000 for using the sauna area and then another 25-30,000 for a private room). If you don't care about having your own room, there is the lounge area that has a bunch of couch like lounge chairs, etc. and plenty of room on the floor to just pull up a couple floor pads and you can crash on the floor. Like I said, it depends on how you want to spend your evening. |

thanks guys for the replies.
Problem is I really have insomnia and I have had it most of my life.
I need a place of my own to sleep. So, I need a motel. 50,000 is too high for the sauna for me, so I would rather stay at a motel/yogwon or some place close to the airport.
80,000 is too high, so I wil go to the airport and get there by 5pm and at the information desk I know I can find a cheaper place. I had stayed some place before but I can not remember the name and it was cheaper. I do not care about free breakfast, or anything fancy. Just a private room. if the airport desk does not have anything for around 60,000 or less I will see wht I will do. |

Airport Guest House. www.icnhostel.com
Its about 5 minutes from the airport & Mr Kwon will come pick you up there in his minivan. The phone number is on the website or you can have the airport info desk call him. He's a cool guy & speaks good english.
Not really a hostel, the rooms are in a modern officetel, hotel-style & very clean. For a single room, figure 45 to 55k. It does fill up so maybe book ahead.
Good value. |

I will call them in the morning and if I have to I can go to the bank tomorrow at 10 and make a bank transfer for the reservation.

Yep, now in the airportguest house.
Great. 45,000 won and free airport pickup.
My room has wifi access. Had to ask for it because some rooms do not have it. But they are the same price. I am amazed that I can use the ipod. But now I an a stinky loud smoky pc room cause the ipod needs charging. People speak no english here cause I asked how to plug in the ipod and they said "no", and "chargee no". But I found out where to plug it in and it is charging. Now if I do not die from all the smoke and this headache from this place, I can get the ipod charged. I may have to leave in 5 minutes with it half charged. This place is a a horror.
But the motel is great. |

Reservation system not working. I'll have to call him. If there wasn't anything or only the 120K room was available, you could still go to the airport spa for a somewhat quiet place to rest or warm a flat wooden bench with bright white lights and noise. |

Spa on Air in the airport is still 20,000 won after 8pm and 12,000 more to get a private for a total of 32,000. The only problem is noisy locker door slamming, coughing, foot stomping, and loud talking in an inconsiderate manner in the locker room which also contains the sleeping area. People are just going to be nothing less than rude. |
