When it comes to preparing and performing lessons, who typically dose the most work?

i think it works out about even - high school undoubtedly is more challenging and requires far more preparation - but we get the most holiday. elementary requires a lot of enthusiasm and they days are often very tiring because of the young children running and screaming - but your not going to have to keep checking your spelling and grammar of prepare huge amounts of worksheets etc in your spare time - as much as we like to grumble about our particular situation it works out about the same.

that being said if you where to be a a lazy high school teacher you could probabley get away with doing the least work out of anyone because you get the most days off

The people who work at the Foreign Language High Schools probably work the hardest.

Yep, I turned down an offer from a prestigious one....too low pay, but too much work.

Same here, except they paid almost double what I make now, which is a LOT. Its just teaching TOEFL, SAT, TOEIC prep takes an insane amount of time to prep and it's boring as hell. All your doing is drilling everyday. For some people, money is the only thing that matters. For me, I need the whole package. There's no point in having a ton of money and you can't spend it Smile
