How do you define Mexican food? The answer to that will determine what (if any) restaurants you should try, and how vehemently some posters will argue about what is and isn't real Mexican food.

The best way to deal with it is to get some frozen tortillas at Costco and make your own at home.

Only people from Southern California and Mexico are allowed to argue about what is and isn't real Mexican food ^^.

"On the Border" is at Yeongdeungpo station in the new Times Square Mall.

There might be some Mexican restaurants in Bucheon or Bupyeong Station, people always mention but I've never been to either area.

Go to the Shinsegae in Art Center. Downstairs, there's a food court. Habanero serves tacos and burritos. It's passable, if not amazing. Otherwise, buy tortillas and make your own. It's what I do most of the time.

On the Border is one of the most overrated and overpriced foreign restaurants in Korea. I don't understand why people rave about this place, it really is very very average and not very authentic imo.

I prefer Dos Tacos and yes I know it's not the best restaurant ever BUT it's far better value for money than On the Border imo.

OTB is an overpriced "MExican family restaurant" which are fairly popular stateside. think el torito or tio leo's.

dos tacos is pretty scary stuff though.

i guess i'd go with tomatillo even though it's a chipotle ripoff. their carnitas and fish tacos are about as close to the real thing as i've seen.

I was going to suggest Tomatillo (despite the intense anger it inspires in some folks around here), but that's still pretty far from Incheon.

Doesn't Dos Tacos put kidney beans in their food? That is the woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooorst. At least On The Border uses black and pinto beans.

I've never been to Tomatillo because I also assumed they used kidney beans. Is it really like Chipotles? Do they use the dreaded kidney beans?
