What brand is the tripod? What's it made of, plastic or metal? |

The only thing written on it is Shooting Grip. But I don't believe that is the brand name. I purchased the tripod at a Nikon store when I purchased my camera a few years ago.
The majority of the camera is metal. The ball head, etc are metal. However, a few of the knobs are plastic. |

Where are you located? I broke my knock off gorillapod this morning, so I am suddenly in the market for something new. |
