How would you write this in Korean for the students...
"Please get a small notebook, to write down the homework. The teacher will be signing the notebook each day to make sure the homework is written down and/or completed." |

^ why it's risky asking for translation advice on a site like this...!! funny, but could land the OP in a world of trouble if he were to use it unwittingly. |

...because everybody thinks they're so funny and unique in a foreign country...
no problem, my Korean isn't great, but it's enough to read their nonsense, even without a dictionary. thought i could get some help, but i guess i realized i can't ask for this type of assistance, but thanks anyway. |

앞으로 작은 공책을 가져 와라. 그 공책에 숙제를 써야 한다. 숙제를 다 하면은 선생님이 공책에 서명하겠다.
Bring a small notebook in the future. You must write your homework in the notebook. If you do it all, I'll sign it for you.
My Korean isn't anywhere near perfect; if anyone spots some errors, let me know. |

You didn't exactly set the tone of your instruction or your overall attitude toward your students. I'll give you a nice and polite version for the blackboard.
"연습장 하나씩 준비하도록 하고, 거기다 숙제 해오세요. 숙제 제대로 했는지 선생님이 매일 검사해서 싸인할 거에요."
This isn't a word-for-word translation which, in this case, will make it sound rather weird. |
