Shipping costs pretty much negate any savings you may get by trying to do it. (also, most sellers WON'T ship to Korea (or anywhere else in Asia)).

You could try using a reshipper such as shipito.com - buy stuff from Amazon and Ebay and send them to shipito. Shipito will then ship to SK. You can have them combine your packages into a single one to ave shipping costs.

I assume you have an existing computer and are aware of the electrical differences (obv if you are only spending a year or two in Korea, it makes sense to buy a product that you can use once you are back in USA).

Just thought I'd chuck it out there if for some reason you haven't.

I buy all my appliances from European sellers for the power information and outlet format.

A lot of ebay shops will ship things to SK and the shipping isn't as bad as others are saying

just recently i bought a PC game and it was only 10$ to ship..compared to 5$ domestic

the only problem would be with customs. products over 150$ will be most likely taxes (15% tax), although they dont check every box and you might get lucky
