It's a little early, but I'm thinking about what I want to do when my contract ends in Jan. 2012. If I choose to re-sign or move to Seoul, I'll have to get an FBI CBC done beforehand.
My question is what date should I be concerned with when it comes to the CBC's expiration? I have heard the FBI CBC will only be good for 6 months, so will the 6 month mark start from when I request it, from when it is issued, or from when I get the apostille done?

| Likely from the date of issue of the CRC. Because if it was from the date of application most American and Canadians would be screwed. |

6 months from date of issue to the time it lands on the desk at K-immi.

There has been people saying 6 months to 1 yr time, you have to check with immigration. It's probably 6 months.
