My dad plays the alto saxophone. I need to find him a place that will allow him to play when we visit Seoul this weekend. Any ideas?

Any help would be much appreciated!

Is your dad Ornette Coleman or some old school pimp cat like that? I was looking up similar information a couple weeks ago and there were a few threads on it. I'm a jazz head myself so tell him jfromtheway said keep the bop at the top.

1000 year jazz club, Hyewha. You could try there. Soul to God, Gangnam, they are small. I don't recommend this place as a place to go in general, because they are way to expensive and the quality for what you pay is not there (frankly, it's a rip off), but they have a nice atmosphere. They have a website with phone numbers.

Hey, thanks for this. I'll be looking it thoroughly. Do you play?

Oh yeah, and do they have open mics on the weekends? I play acoustic guitar and thought I should ask.

Again, thanks so much for answering!
