Greg Palast, a frm regulatory watchdog for the nuclear reactor industry is saying (gregpalast.com) that major radiation is spewing from the damaged reactors in japan. He states that the Japanes gov should be giving out iodine pills to the japanese citizenry - but is dangerous in failing to do so i a vain attempt to squash fear, bad image, etc.
The Korean media has signalled its first complicit remark by stating "the wind blows away from the japanese coast",away from japan and korea".(paraphrase)
In any event, a discussion needs to be furthered about taking iodine tablets. I am near busan and will start to aquire some as the cost benefit analysis dictates that, if I am overreacting - $30 or so will be lost getting tabs.
CNN lovers don't need to reply. We know you don't think even the japanese need iodine pills!! |
