Does anyone know if teachers on the E-2 need to submit Apostilled FBI checks and Degrees to Immigration to renew your visa at the end of this year?

I'm a little confused, the education departments said no as long as you "Promise" to get it next year. But that's for the POE not immigration

I renewed my visa in Feb. The immi officer told me I could bring the docs next year if I renew again.

From what I gathered from ttompatz and when I called K-immi, is that if you were here before 2011, you can get the new required documents waived until 2012 or before the start of your next contract in 2012. BUT you have to start the new contract BEFORE the time on your ARC runs out. So say your current contract ends on June 1st 2011 but your ARC expires on June 15th 2011, you have 15 days to have a job lined up and transfer (between June 1 and June 15th)
