Anyone know of any Hagwon chains that teach Japanese? |

Are you looking to learn Japanese in English or Korean?
I'm not too sure about hagwons which teach Japanese in English, but I learned Japanese for 4 months at Pagoda and they had a great program. The only thing is that they teach it in Korean. |

If commuting becomes a deterrent, try learning online via Skype. I have used OLS and recommend them.

The Japanese instructors try to keep it an immersive Japanese environment but will explain to you in English if requested. But I'd consider a conveniently-located Japanese hagwon in Seoul that could teach in English when necessary. |

Try to use the search function. I know it doesn't always work, but there was a thread on this about year or 2 ago. Someone listed like 4 or 5 schools that taught Japanese to non-Koreans in English. I remember one being near Coex but that's all I remember.
You could also try a language exchange or 1-on-1 if you can't find a class. Try posting on different forums and dating sites. There was a Korean site that I can't recall the name of right now. Not a dating site, but kind of a people meet site. People used to look for private English tutors and would make posts looking for students and language exchange partners. Wish I could remember that one. |
