We get a week holiday at the end of july and we are looking for a beach to lay on and drink, maybe surf, shop for the week.
Any good places with cheap airfare? We are flying out of Seoul.
We were thinking Bancock or Manila...... what do you think?? |

If you're looking for beach and surf, Bangkok isn't it. Hua Hin, a resort town about 2-3 hours west of Bangkok might fit the bill, though. Plenty of golf in the area, if that's your bag, too. Or if not Hua Hin, Koh Phi Phi is better, IMO. |

This should be in travel forum.
Fly into a big city in SE Asia and then take a bus/boat or short domestic hop to somewhere else.
OP, pick a country. Thailand, Philippines, Malaysia, or Vietnam? Those are your best options IMO. Then we can suggest some places in that country. |

hmm, ok thanks for the input so far guys.
All we really know is that we want to go cheap. I've heard Thailand is super cheap once you get there, but we are talking airfare from seoul too.
Any warm/cheap/beachy places with cheap airfare??
Basically there are two of us and we want to sit on a beach and drink for a week and spend about ! million won each. Is Thailand the spot, or is there some little gem that we are overlooking??? |

You're not going to find an all inclusive resort for that kind of money. I'm not saying you're going to get a shack, but you're going to be staying in budget accommodations. |

You will not get an exclusive resort for that price. You could possibly do Thailand and certainly Philippines on that money.
For Philippines:
Flight: 150,000-500,000 (varies a lot by season and sale)
Hotel: 30,000-100,000 a night (varies a lot as well) Beachfront is a lot more.
Food: 2000-10,000 a meal
Transport: About 1/2 of Korea's cost

Google Club Med if you want all-inclusive. It won't be cheap, though. |

Check out airasian for flights out of Seoul, they're really cheap. Then sort out where you want to go
Everywhere Boholdiver said is cheap, I Mil Korean is doable but damn, spend a bit more and have a really good time, you haven't spent all your money on the Korean nightlife have you |
