Has anyone ever been married abroad - i mean where both parties are not natives of that country?
i'm planning for the big day next may and me and my fiancee are planning somewhere that isn't korea or the uk.
hawaii looks nice but certainly expensive. sri lanka looks great, as do the maldives.
has anyone had any experience doing this? |

| I was married in Thailand/Korea. We, 2 Canadians, had a Buddhist ceremony on a Thai beach, but in order to make it legit through the eyes of my government, we signed papers at the Canadian embassy. The paper signing required some running back and forth from the Canadian embassy and a local gu office. |
