Heya,
I've been working on and off in Korea since 2002. Last time I worked was end of 2008 and have been traveling since then. Now I want to get a new E2 but it seems extremely confusing now.
I've done tons of searches and can't find much. A lot of stuff is out of date or its conflicting.
Last time I was able to get one here by taking my CRC to the Canadian Embassy and submitting my transcripts and original degree.
However, now it appears that original degrees are no longer accepted and a notarized copy that has been confirmed by a Korean Consulate is necessary? Is there any work around to this or do I have to mail my degree home to someone who will notarize it then mail it to the consulate?
Also, are transcripts required now or not? The hikorea immigration website says they are not, yet several recruiters claim you need at least 2 sealed copies, some even say 4.
Flying home would be a major burden, plus the Toronto Consulate's website isn't even up to date on any info. |
