I rarely do. He's not the type of person I'd hang out with at home, so he's not the type of person I'd hang out with here.

A little bit, but our interests are so divergent about the only thing we can do together is eat and/or get drunk, which I am certainly not averse to. It's just not something I want to do every weekend.

It's been up and down for me. I'd say the most I ever hung out with co workers was the second year at my first school. We've all kept in touch and one of them I'm good friends with. That said, I've had horrible luck in terms of actually being at schools that even HAVE other foreigners, let alone younger people without kids.

Mine seem to be pretty evenly divided between alcoholic partiers and douchey hipsters, so I try to avoid them as much as possible.

I don't have any others at my school, but I guess it would depend on what their idea of a good time was. I hang out with a small group of amazing people, but do have plenty of peripheral friends that I see on a fairly regular basis.

A hipster is an art school dropout who likes indie music, flannel, ironic mustaches and nerd glasses without any lenses. Often he is seen drinking cheap beer and talking about a band he wrote about on his blog, while riding a fixed gear bicycle and smoking a cigarette in Brooklyn. Men and women are very androgynous.
