what about santorini in Itaewon?
I went there .. wasn't impressed at all. but then again I worked in a Greek restaurant back home during college with authentic Greeks. so I am a little biased.

That place sucks, Tony's in Hongdae is way better.

I've never been, but while it looks appetizing...everything is EXTREMELY overpriced. I was shocked.

Yeah, I wasn't happy about the prices, but I wanted my girlfriend to try Greek food and Santorini's was ridiculously disappointing.

I've been in Hongdae for about 2 years and can say that the best for Italian food is Jenny's Cafe. (try. the mushroom salad, the greco pasta and cheese gnocci!)

Jenny's bread is the sister restaurant and bakery which is great for lunch.

*grumble grumble*

Well, I know one place in the area that I enjoy, yet shall not recommend.

Jenny's Cafe is great.

jennys cafe , well the prices are a joke! what she think this is.. SPAGOS!
come on, small place, not good location, low over heads, no staff really and she is charging the same as some of the top places in kangnam..
hahahaha it never seizes to amaze me how Koreans price their menus!
hahahahah just stupidity at it's finest. still I guess the real fool is one parting with his money..
for those prices I will go to Cheongdam dong.
pass on jenny.

See this is why I don't bother with the ESLCafe drivel.

You sir are a flippant moron.

No sir.. I am someone who has worked in the hospitality industry for 10 years, working in kitchens and front of house in some of my cities best restaurants and also over seas.

she is over pricing her menu based on her location and the quality of her food. her prices are similar to BABBO in New york!
give me a break.. she is a small shack in hongdae, not a classy restaurant in tribecca!

you sir are a fool for paying for it.
her prices need to come down 30%

Sorry, had been drinking when I wrote that. It was extremely rude of me, so I apologize.

Although not Italian or Greek, Shim's Tapas in Hongdae is always a winner
