After living in Korea for three years, I decided that I want to declare myself as a non-resident for those years I lived in Korea. I am a Canadian citizen and was wondering if any of you Canadian guys or gals who have returned home could refer an accountant who has experience with ESL teachers living abroad. I don't think it's a long shot as there are so many Canadians in the same position as me. I live in Toronto.

Patrick from Busan, i would have loved to email you personally because I think you always have a lot of great advice but unfortunately I am unable to do so.

As usual, I appreciate all the great help from those who offer it.

As well, I tried using the search engine on Dave's but nothing came up. I know it must be me.

Grand Theft Auto now has accountants in it?!? Guess there's no time to balance all that drug money when you're blastin' fools 24/7!!

Nah, just a friendly bump for ya. (no pun intended) Wink

I graduated with a degree in accounting. I'm gonna study for the CPA when I get back to the states.

This is for tax purposes right?

Is the CPA similier to the CFA as far the actual exam goes?

Be prepared to pay for it. Accountants are pretty expensive. Have you tried calling the embassy? They might be able to recommend some.
