During my brief stint in the U.S. I have discovered the glory that is streaming NetFlix.
I called and asked if this was available in Korea and they gave the the standard "International copyright law...Korean IP" bla bla bla talk.
I assume if I get an account in the US, and use an IP changer like the one people use to watch Hulu), I will be able to watch NetFlix on my computer.
Has anybody done this successfully?
Thanks,

I've done it. It was really slow. The constant buffering was annoying. I put my account on hold a couple of times and am just going wait till I get back to the US.
Until then, torrents are my friends. |

| Good to know in either case; guess I'll suspend my account in the meantime. |

Just use torrents. I don't understand why anyone would go out of their way to illegally obtain a pay movie service and pay to watch movies they could illegally obtain for free. I might understand if they were cracking down on that sort of thing here but no one cares.
Boggles my mind. |

I do it. I use Astrill.com for it. Usually works fine for me. Want a free trial? Pm me.
The dislikes I do have are more with netflix itself and tearing during playback, which is also disliked by many back home.
To answer the other question posed, you are assuming he will actually pay for Netflix. I know some who just use a family acct. |
