Police are investigating two explosions at Seoul Station and Gangnam Express Bus Terminal about 30 minutes apart on Thursday.

More at the link. This morning on YTN news, I saw cops outfitted like those at Incheon Airport patrolling Seoul Station.

So, now, we have terrorism in this country. I wonder if North Korea might be behind this.

I don't recall exactly how the lockers at Seoul Station work; however, I do remember the user must scan their fingerprint at some point during the process. Does the user do that before or after placing their belongings an available locker?

So let's get a list of the usual suspects

A) Islamic Terrorist
B) North Korean Operative
C) Disgruntled Former Employee
D) Bureaucratic "Victim"
E) Hinckley-esque Netizen
F) Cultist
G) Mad Scientist
I) Doom-influenced Gamer
J) Cracked Divorcee
K) Pressure Packed Student

I picked C but its Korea so K or E are distinct possibilities.

I'm guessing the culprit is a university student who is against this right wing government.

Ever since President Lee Myung-bak came into power, South Korea is looking more like China.

If you drove through my neighborhood you could be forgiven for guessing it was Berlin, 1945. Everyday one or more buildings are torn down for urban development. The former residents are not happy. If any of them were under 60, I'd say they were prime suspects for these incidents.

A string of explosions at two major Seoul transportation hubs last week were an individuals attempt to manipulate stock prices for his own monetary gain, police said yesterday, three days after they launched a terrorism probe into the attacks.

The explosions, which caused no injuries, occurred about an hour apart on Thursday - the first at Seoul Station and then at the Seoul Express Bus Terminal.

Police on Saturday took custody of a 43-year-old man, identified only by his last name of Kim, and two other men on suspicion of placing homemade explosives inside lockers set up at both locations, triggering the explosions involving what appeared to be butane tanks connected to electrical wires.

Kim led the group and hoped to make large profits from his investments in futures options by driving down stock prices through the attacks, police said.

Kim had been struggling to repay his debts after failing to make profits from a separate set of money he borrowed and invested in the stock market after his release from prison in July 2010, they said.

Compulsory purchase has happened often and on a wide scale.
How do you think they have been able to build all those highways and residential areas over the past 20 - 50 years?

Not everyone has been satisfied with the compensation given to them. Some people have not only lost property but livelihoods as well.

Man, that one is out of left field. Then again the phrase "Terrorism used financial gain" recalls some Bush-Cheney theories.
