is there such a shop where they specialize in used bicycles? i don't wanna pay for a ridiculously overpriced import brand but then again don't wanna be riding around a crappy heavier than a fridge korean make one out of concern for my safety. i already walked into a several bike shops and the answers so far have been 'no, no used bikes here'. You could try the Hwanghak-dong Flea Market. I've only been there once, so I can't provide good directions.

Craigslist gets a steady stream of used bikes. HomePlus had new bikes for 130,000 won in the fall. This may have been the sale price.
