Hello Folks,
The girlfriend and I are taking a 2-3 month vacation and rather than put our stuff in storage we figure wed like to hawk it all off for reasonable prices in order to simplify everything.
Some of the items are pick up only, all of which youre welcome to come by and test out if interested. Were located in Chuncheon, Gangwon-do, 1 1/2 hours by subway east of Seoul.
So, here it all is:
Electronics:
27 iMac *(reserved pending payment)*
(purchased August 2010, still under 1 Year Apple warranty)
Specs:
-2.93ghz i7 quad core Processor -4 gb RAM -1 TB HD -8x Superdrive -ATI Radeon HD 5750 w/ 1gb memory -Built in iSight
-Comes with the Apple Keyboard and a Magic Mouse and all the packaging, including a truly massive box.
Pics: http://flic.kr/p/9EAG3y http://flic.kr/p/9ExLcg http://flic.kr/p/9EAJeG
The computer was purchased with the processor upgrade from i5 to i7, mainly for World of Warcraft / Starcraft, which it easily handles on maximum settings. Total price on 8/23/2010 was 2,877,600krw.
Price: 1,700,000 krw o.b.o.
Pick up only
*(SOLD)* Mac Mini (June 2010 model) *(SOLD)*
Specs:
-2.4ghz Intel Core 2 Duo -4gb ram -320gb HD -8x Double Layer Super Drive
-HDMI port out / optical, 4 usb, ethernet
-Comes with an Apple wireless bluetooth keyboard and a Logitech bluetooth mouse.
This computer was used exclusively as a media center PC and connected to our 1080p set running PLEX with zero trouble. It handled everything we threw at it, from streaming tv or 1080p video files. Also handles World of Warcraft and Starcraft on medium settings. Wonderful little set up for downloading and watching movies or streaming TV shows from back home.

>>>No box, comes with a USB cable only.<<<
Please note: the iPad has a tiny dent in the rear metal, no larger than a piece of rice, and really only visible from close up or extreme angles. I've tried to photograph it but my camera's not a microscope and it's very hard to capture.
Price: 400,000 obo
Shipping available.
Samsung PAVV 40 1080p TV (*SOLD*)
Purchased in August 2009 for 900,000 krw from HomePlus. Has 4 HDMI ports plus coaxial. Great condition, no dead pixels. Comes with the mount & remote but no box.

(*SOLD*) Xbox 360 + Kinect + 3 games + 3 controllers (*SOLD*)
20gb Korean Region model made in 8/2007. Cosmetically so-so, has a few minor discolorations but runs just fine. Supports 1080p/720p via HDMI, has never Red Ringed or been hacked. Does NOT include standard A/V cables, only an HDMI cable.
Comes with a Kinect, purchased in November, and the following games:

Price: 175,000 obo

Samsung ML-1665 Mono-laser printer.
Great little printer bought in January. Has about 800 pages of work done on it. Toner cartridge is almost totally empty but they can be purchased at HomePlus or the like easily.
Pics: http://flic.kr/p/9ExKjx
Price: 25,000
House stuff:
Ikea Pello Chairs (set of 2) (Sale Pending)
More information here: http://bit.ly/kQxTgQ
2 years old, washed regularly, one minor stain. Pretty darn comfortable chairs, great for reading or playing Xbox.
Pics: http://flic.kr/p/9ExJaz http://flic.kr/p/9ExJDr
Price: 25,000 krw each
Pick up only
A Truly Awful Sofa.
Bought of Gmarket 2 years ago for 100,000 krw and regretted every day since. Its ugly, uncomfortable, hobbit size when converted into futon mode, and basically looks like something ripped out of the back seat of a hippys VW bus.
The only redeeming feature about this abomination of a couch is that its great for guests to crash on if you toss a yo or some cheap foam mattress on top of it. Well throw in some pillows so that its not bad when pressed up against a window where one could relax and stare out at the Korean landscape, pretending their couch wasnt so awful.
Pics: http://flic.kr/p/9EACHQ http://flic.kr/p/9EACSu
Price: 10,000 won.
Pick up only.
A Desk
Nothing special. Keyboard compartment slides and the wheels can lock into place to keep it from sliding across the house.
Pics: http://flic.kr/p/9EADQL
Price: 20,000 won
Pick up only.
Assorted plants
Turn your house into a jungle as I did mine. It makes the air smell nice and gives you something to talk to during the long winter. All off the plants have been cared for and loved and are generally well behaved and looking for their forever home.
Pics: http://flic.kr/p/9ExH2t
Price: 5,000 each
Pick up, obviously.
(*SOLD*) Folding Haro bikes (*SOLD*)
Purchased 1 1/2 years ago. Always kept indoors. 1 blue, 1 silver.
Pics: http://flic.kr/p/9ExKPP http://flic.kr/p/9ExL1t

If interested, email
Some items can be shipped and if chosen FULL PAYMENT is required up front including shipping. Ive sold a bunch of stuff on Daves before, just click through my profile and youll see everyones been pretty happy.
Sorry, but were not interested in trades, barters, royal wedding plates, or grandmas secret kimchi recipe so please dont email asking if Ill take a years worth of mandoo for an iPad.
~cheers,
-Drew-

Thanks for the kind words. Unfortunately, it's a Korean Xbox. I'll update the info to clarify that.
By now I (believe) I've replied to all interested parties. If I haven't, please email: [email protected]
I'll update the list once sales are finalized. Thanks for all the interest! |

This is undoubtedly the BEST sale I've ever seen on Dave's in terms of honesty and fairness in pricing. If ANYONE lowballs this guy, he/she is an absolute tool.
This might be a dumb question, but I be able to comfortably ride one of those bikes if I'm 184cm?
Also, are you willing to cell the Kinect separately? |

Thanks for the awesome words, much appreciated.
As for the bikes, 184cm might be okay but I'm not sure. I'm sort of a hobbit myself at about 170cm and they're just fine for me and taller friends of mine have ridden them before with little trouble. There is an interested buyer coming this weekend for the bikes so they're on reserve.
As for the Kinect, it has been sold with the xbox.

Excellent deals! I've already e-mailed you about the tv, but I guess you are still waiting for other replies. I would gladly pay your asking and pick it up on Tuesday if you are free!

Ready, meaning: in your account, able to be spent, numbers that match the same numbers listed above with the appropriate amount of zeros, able to be withdrawn from an ATM using a plastic card and/or sent electronically or handed in person using paper notes. Ready =/= in an offshore account that will be available by midsummer's eve or in an a similar weight in beer. I am not Craig and I do not run a List.

I'd love to buy your Ipad. Shipping would be easiest as I live far south from you, but I can pay via transfer asap. I've been at dave's a long time, but don't have enough posts to PM - so send me a message or email (seth.newsome at gmail.com) if it's still available. |
