Hi,

Selling my AKAI MPC 2000 XL.

It is in fantastic condition - it was serviced in December and came back all positive. The screen is bright with no dead pixels. The pads were replaced, and as such are in as-new condition with that legendary Akai responsiveness.

The floppy drive has been converted to a flash drive - this means you can cut up samples on a computer and transfer them over in an instant. It also means you can store thousands of samples on you MPC without faffing around with floppy disks.

I will throw in a flash card (I think it's 2Gb but I can double check) and flash card reader for free.

I will also include all the necessary cables to hook it up to turntables, mixer, speakers etc. MPC's have double 1/4" Jack sockets in the back, not phono. It was no small feat trying to find Phono to 1/4 Jack cables, so I've saved you a small mission there!

Finally, I will throw in a Road Ready Flight Case - this thing is seriously hard. You could probably drop it out of a plane and your MPC would survive.

Reason for selling is that I simply don't use it as much I had hoped, I would rather it went to a serious owner and not be sat quietly in the corner of my room!

It's priced to sell, so asking for W500,000 for everything. If you want to test it out first that's fine, just PM me, but you will have to come to me.

I live in Busan on the Green Subway line. Would prefer collection in person.

I can provide photos if needed.

Thanks,

tealeeds

BUMP

This is a fantastic, high-end piece of production equipment that is easy to learn and will expand your analogue production capabilities immensely.

Here's a video of Pete Rock on the MPC....

Hi,

The MPC is still available for those who are interested.

This is priced to sell at W500,000 - even second hand, they cost about W800,000 in UK, I would suspect they'd be more over here.

thanks,

tealleds

NOTE ABOUT SHIPPING -
I'm reluctant to ship due to the cost and weight of this thing, and I'd prefer the buyer to test it out first before making the investment - that said, I am prepared to ship if this is the only option. NOTE - buyer would pay shipping.
