Does anyone know where I can get an International Drivers Permit to go along with my Korean Drivers license? The reason I want this done is I have a Korean License with Motorcycle Endorsement and I want this to be valid oversees/when I move to Australia in the near future. |

Your local DLA ( http://www.dla.go.kr ) .
You need to take a passport type photo, 7k won, your D/L, your ARC and passport. Fill in an application at the counter.
Done while you wait.

This is worth trying since it's close, quick and easy. HOWEVER, I've always been under the impression that you must obtain an IDL from your home country. I used to process applications for IDLs when I lived in America as part of my work and we could ONLY process Americans. We WERE INDEED able to process these for persons who were physically overseas and simply mailed (or even, in some cases, emailed) their applications to us.
In Australia, you can obtain an IDP (they call it an "International Driving Permit" Down Under) from your home state's AAA (Australian Automobile Association) subsidiary. Go to http://www.aaa.asn.au/about/members.htm for further info. |

You get the IDP from the same country that issued the original D/L.
I have held my KOREAN IDP since 2002 (annual renewals required and the process is the same as the original application).
Since the OP has a Korean D/L he can get a Korean IDP.
The process is exactly as outlined above and is also detailed on the Drivers License Agency website.
This ISN'T the USA.

If the OP's relocating to Australia (as in moving there to live), then more likely than not, they'll be required to get an Australian driver's license. |

How difficult could that be, really? you just lock the steering wheel in the go straight position and fall asleep for a few hours til you hit Adelaide. |
