Well, I'm not a vegan myself at all, but I've stumbled upon this franchise while I was doing some research on something else.
Some people might have known this all along, some might not, and I just thought I'd duplicate public knowledge by creating a thread here, given the lack of 'vegan' scene in South Korea.

I do NOT necessarily endorse this franchise personally, I'm merely recognizing its presence in country.

I LOVE Loving Hut ~ this chain definitely makes it easier to be vegan in Korea.
Although some people seem to have issues with it being a Supreme Master Ching Hai thing. I find the staff are always friendly and nice.
It's also possible to buy vegan products at the Seoul Lovinghuts ~ things like frozen vegan mandu, nuts, bread etc.......

I went to the Itaewon location last week (not exactly a high-traffic area). Good food, great decor, small portions though. I'd go again though.

Also, just down the hill one building is a cafe with baked goods (somewhat tangentially, the baker is Frenc)h. Let me tell you, the chocolate almond croissant I had (something like 4,500 won) was absolutely superlatively awesome. I'm definitely going there again next time I'm in Itaewon.

I have been living in Korea for 3 years and vegan!

You can order good vitamins and natural products from iherb.com

I buy Chai herbal tea and protien products from them. They have fast shipping to Korea for about $4 and the products are good and usually discounted.

First time buyers can use this coupon code to get $5 off your first order YAJ537

Dave's is not a site for spamming the board promoting on several different threads a certain website. I am referring to the post above mine, not to the OP's post with his link. The post above mine has been duplicated in more than one place clearly constituting spam.

Thank you,

There's a vegan restaurant that just opened up in Dongtan. I had the veggie burger and it was pretty good.

They have lots of pasta dishes too. I was excited about bean and nut salads when I first saw them opening, but they don't seem to have any. They do have some really good bread though.

No, the place I'm referring to is next to Loving Hut (one building down the hill). But if you could give directions to the place you're talking about, I'd love to check it out too! Smile
