Most of you lot are doing a good job here, but some are causing problems for the rest of the users. Remember to not post attack messages against each other. Moderators have little patience for that. It violates the Terms of Service. Do not post anyone's personal information even if I can find it on the internet. It's a serious violation. It's on the TOS. Do not Spam the board, do not go into threads promoting on purpose religious arguments or threads, or sexual threads of a strange variety etc.... I've said all this before and so did the other moderators. We can't play nice cop all the time. We understand you want to feel free when you're posting, but we want it clean over here. Send me a note if some people are ruining it for the rest, and we'll set them straight or send them to the junkyard.

Tone down the ad-hominem attacks... You know where you have to feel you will suffer some kind of ego death if you don't psychologically bludgeon the other poster. That's unacceptable here. If you do that, you may either A)Get warning or B)Depending on how we feel about the comment and your posting history send you for a long vacation or C)Send you away permanently.

We are not doing it to be mean. We have our rules. You accepted the Terms of Service, and we are hear to remind you of that. Most of you folks I like, but some of you ignore our rules you are going to upset the Mod Team because you will make our lives difficult because we have to enforce the TOS. If we find you are making our job difficult, then you know what has to give...

Two posters have been handed temporary bans. We occasionally post those now in the General Forum. Two guys who ran over the TOS and were flaming and making a mess with ad-hominem attacks are on temporary leave.
This is not to make you all panic. We just want political discourse that's clean, not bludgeoning each other and getting emotional and attacking each other. You know the rules....

If folks out of line, let me know or another mod...They may get warnings or a temporary rest.....and if necessary more..... The last scenario we try to avoid, but for the sake of keeping things clean we don't hesitate to exercise that option.
