Samsung Anycall color phone. 011

My rich ex (part owner of a jewlery store in Seoul) bought it for me about 10 months ago. She's still pays the bill to this day - 7 months after we broke up (she couldn't speak English and the novelty wore off fast). Her own phone number is disconnected so I can't get ahold of her and she hasn't tried to call me in ages. I think the bill comes out of her account and she's forgotten, doesn't realize it or just doesn't care. As long as it stays on, may as well use it. It even has international roaming meaning I can use it in the states if I go back home and I used it before in Japan and Taiwan. I have no idea how I could be this lucky. I hope I never lose it!

If it goes off I'll be back to my old LG credit phone. I keep 20,000 WON on it for when the time comes that my ex comes to her senses and shuts off my service.

Now that I finished bragging, what kind of phone do you use and how did you get it? Is it in your name? Credit phone?

i have a LG Cyon LP9200. It's an ok phone. I got it for 120 brand new and the account's in my name.

Not impressed with LG Cyon, but their A/S centers were nice to me. They replaced my phone with a brand new one after my original one began to go crazy. (this would not have happened back in the states...they would have just laughed at me).

How did you get it in your own name? You need a ARC and bank account?

dunno...just got it in my name...i have an F-4 visa, which I think helps a bit. As for 011, you can get it in your name...you just need to put down a deposit of 200,000.

I have a little silver cyon, but I don't know the model number. Embarassed

I got it through the university where I teach. It was a special deal- the cost was 225,000, but I only had to pay 25,000. My account is through my bank, the charges are automatically deducted with my other utilities.
