You can get a visa for Vietnam online. Just make sure you do it during the WEEKDAYS or you'll be in big trouble.

I had a flight to Vietnam on a Saturday, got it taken care of on a Friday (had to pay extra to same day service/on arrival visa), and had no problems getting in.

It was something like $40.

If you watch for the seat sales, Cebu
Pacific regularly has seats to Cebu, or Manila for as little as 325k won, taxes included, return.

If you get really lucky you can get them for as low as 250k return inclusive.

You might want to keep an eye on Zest air as well for cheap seats from Korea to Kalibo (Boracay). It looks like it will be a regularly scheduled charter flight.

.

every time I've seen such sales they're always NOT during ps vacation periods.

or maybe I'm not being attentive enough.

Cebu Pacific Airlines (cebupacificair.com) is where I buy my tickets to the Philippines. You have to constantly check that site because the sales could come at any time and usually you have to buy the tickets a few months in advance.
