Cebu Pacific Air is having another sale for Korea, as in 2,099 pesos (53,000 won) from Manila or Cebu to Incheon or Busan. Yet I keep getting quoted 98,000 or 99,000 won as the promo fare when booking a roundtrip ticket from Incheon. When booking a one-way ticket from Manila or Cebu to Busan or Incheon, then the 2,099 peso price comes up.
Something is fishy here. |

yeah i totally see what you are saying.....i would buy at the 2000 peso deal but not the 99,000 won deal......i think i might try to book via proxy server.......i think air asia does something similar on their site too......if i book via their india site often the prices are cheaper...
but if you read the literal text of the sale it does only read one way manila/cebu to the korean cities....not the opposite....
the lowest total price i can see is right at about 200,000 won return with taxes and i am almost sure the fuel surcharge is a new thing....
and to top it off.....i have bought lots of cebu pacific tickets and sometimes their exchange rate is less than favorable for the won to peso conversion......both are trash currencies and they seem to do some monkey math in the conversion... |

The web site says the sale is only for flights originating from the Philippines. Stupid rule, but it is what it is.
Even at 99,000 won each way, that's not a bad deal. If you can find a cheaper flight to the Philippines on another carrier, please let us know. |

I've gotten cheaper than 99,000 won one way but it needs to specify better whether the sale prices apply to flights to and from Korea. Maybe this is a one-time thing as I haven't had a problem with this before.
And I got one ticket for 146,000 won roundtrip except for the departure tax out of the Phils, but I remember in March that one deal allowed for a roundtrip ticket for under 100,000 won NET. |

Still, we should get the deals like everyone else. I went to the Phils for Lunar New Year in late January and the roundtrip ticket on Cebu Pacific Air was 190,000 won plus tax. |
