I'm moving from my university to another university. Like most private universities my university does not offer severance pay or put me into the government pension program. I have a private pension.
I was under the impression that this money would be refunded to me when I leave the university (regardless of whether or not I leave Korea). However my university has little experience in these matters so does anyone else have a different experience?
Can I get my money immediately after leaving my current university? Or, do you know what government office I can contact to find out?

Contact the pension company or (unless you read Korean) have a co-worker check the website for the refund procedure.

| If you are going to another private university, don't take it out. All of the private unis use the same system. |

So there are different pension companies used by different schools? Thanks I didn't know that I will have to look into it.
I wanted to take it out because I need the money I'll have to see if its possible.
