Being a conscript here is a life that many of us would hate and probably rebel against...
80 000 won a month, winter training for weeks on end living outside in foxholes or tents. Little or no real appreciation from Korean females.
These are just some of the stories I've been told by ex soldiers. Two main things upset them the most. Korean females either dump them or don't want anything to do with them when they're in the army
80 000 won a month pay is absurd, in the 90's it was 10 000 won a month.
I feel very sorry for the army conscripts, teachers (from what I've been told) usually get picked on more than others. Because they are older and considered soft. Possibly, a bit of jealousy as well. |

I've been told that cheating is extremely rampant as well. My buddies basically said that there's a don't ask, don't tell policy with your girl while you're away. |

Are you kidding me? They seemed pretty disciplined to me. |
You don't know which countries I'm referring to. |

That only took over a page before reality hit.
You have universal conscription, sooner or later a nut is going to shoot someone. That's just how it is.
Heck, you could have universal conscription 420-fests with strippers and 40s and if you had guns there somebody would go nuts.
Crazy happens. |
