I have to go home for a funeral, and I want to leave tomorrow.
I don't live in Seoul, and I only have a single entry visa.

Can I fix my visa (change it to multiple entry) at Incheon airport before I fly tomorrow?

in a word- yes. The office is a little hard to find, but it only takes around five minutes once you get there.

Quote:
If you want a single re-entry for your e2 you can do it at Incheon airport. Head for check in Counters G and walk towards the wall and there's a sign saying "immigration", go in a little corridor and it's on your right. Note you must have an alien registration card, 30,000 won and a ticket indicating the period of your sojourn or you will be sent back to Incheon Immigration. If you want a multiple re-entry permit you must also go to Incheon Immigration Office.

Sorry for your loss.

No, you cannot change it to a multi-entry at the airport. The single entry will allow you to come back in. That is all you need. If you want to leave and come back again, then you'll need another single-entry or a multi-entry.

Wrong info. You absolutely do need a re-entry permit. You may only be able to get a single re-entry stamp at Incheon though.

The OP already has a single entry permit.

Yeah, and she's already entered once. The one you get at the airport isn't mulitple entry, but it's a re-entry permit, which is all she needs at the moment. Don't complicate things.

The question was, can she get a multi-entry permit at the airport. The answer is no, but she can get another single-entry permit. ok? We don't want other readers to think they can get multi-entry permits at the airport.

kangnamdragon, you are confusing single entry with single re-entry.

An E-2 is a single entry visa. If you want to leave and come back under the same E-2 you need a re-entry permit. either single re-entry or multi re-entry.

Or maybe I'm confused with all these entry/re-entries.

Either way, if you have a plain E-2 you can't leave and come back using the same E-2 unless you have been given an extra stamp in your passport that says 'RE-ENTRY PERMIT'.

aussie col, thats correct. OP, dont worry, give yourself an extra bit of time (maybe half an hour including locating the immi desk) & it will be straightforward. 30000 won for the stamp.

Thanks People,

I just got back, sad trip.
I actually have an F1 (or is it F2?) visa, but it was the same thing, just paid 30,000, got a re-entry (single) stamp in the passport, and off I went.

cheers.
