Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian both got famous because of their sex tapes. Before that, they were just rich, spoiled party girls.
In Korea, a sex tape would result in a ruined career and possibly suicide. In the west, it makes you a celebrity. |

Celebrity?
Anyway... he's recognizable, successful... maybe FAMOUS is a little strong, but he'd walk down the street and be recognized. I guess that's my definition of it.
Anyway the point of my contribution to this thread is that I wish Michael Rappaport would crash his car into a lake of AIDS. |

I don't know when or how, but at some point it actually made sense to me that someone would be famous solely because they were on a reality show.
Blame it on viewing second/third season The Real World as a youngin'. :/
