				| So, it seems the CGVs have stopped showing English subtitles with Korean movies. I was looking forward to seeing 고지전 (the Front line)... anyone have any info about the CGVs bringing back subtitles? |

I just went to a CGV to see that same film. It was after I bought the ticket and waited for hours before I was told that there were no subtitles.

So, I saw it regardless and it was still worthwhile. If you can find it with subtitles, then by all means... but if not, not understanding a single word will still make it better than "Transformers" and "Harry Potter" combined. |

Cheers, Dejavu, I might give it a shot without subtitles based on your recommendation.

Still, I wonder if they will ever bring back English subtitles for big Korean movies, the way it used to be... |

Well considering you and that other dude were the only ones paying for that, it makes perfect sense for them to remove it. |

				| Is there a way one can watch Korean movies with subtitles at home? What if I bought a DVD and wanted to watch it on my computer. Is there an option to watch the movies with English subtitles? I would have gone to see Korean movies if I had known they had English subtitles. Had they informed us foreigners, more of us would have gone. |

				| When you watch movies on your computer, you can usually download the subtitles. Google search the name of your movie + subtitles. The file you want to download ends with ".SRT". Also, you can google search for the movie name + .SRT. |

Do the Korean movies EVER have English subtitiles anymore?

2 films in particular that I'd like to see are Hindsight and Painted. I see the posters all over the place and have looked them up on the net.

Would to see these 2 films on the big screen. |
