Okay I've been reading through the Tech forum and though i've gathered most of the info I need I still have a question.

I want an i-phone for when I move to Korea,(by the end of August at the latest). And as well as having it while i'm in Korea I want to be able to take it with me to wherever I move to after,be it Japan, Australia or back to Europe.

So if I buy a second hand one off of craigslist is it still possible to get the phone unlocked?

I know if i bought a new one and wanted to unlock it they may ask for proof that i am returning to korea. So if I buy a new one I'll get it unlocked while going on a holiday trip outside of Korea for a week. But can this work with a second hand one seeming as I didn't buy it and the person who did will have left the country?

Plus anyone have experience buying phones off craiglist?Any problems?
