I've used 1st Page 2000 for many of my lesson handouts since about June 2000. I type in the text and format it, then paste in matching graphics that I find and download from the internet using the image function in search engines. It's an excellent program, I've never had any problems with it.
I'm teaching a TSE test preparation class right now to a group of nurses and pharmacists; part of the class involves interpreting line, bar and pie charts. I use an online bar chart generator to generate the graphics, then paste them into my lesson handouts.
I still tinker with the code, though, using HTML. One basic function I find especially useful is 'blockquote'. ([blockquote]put text here[/blockquote] |
