Hi there. Got on the ground recently, and am enjoying my time here in Pocheon so far. However, I am the only american in my school, and the other teachers dont really do anything (They barely speak Enlglish, and my Korean is "in the works"). I asked them if anyone wanted to hike a mountain and they looked at me like i have 3 heads! If there's anyone in Pocheon who's down to meetup, or maybe even offer some information on how to get to certain places, I would really appreciate it. Same goes for anyone in Uijeongbu, but I teach until 8pm so it would be tough to meetip other than the weekends. Is it just me, or does no one speak english over here LOL? Dont get me wrong, i love the kids and the authenticity that the small city offers. Other than Uijeongbu and Seoul, havent really been anywhere else. I heard the DMZ tour is close, gonna look into that now! Ok, nuff outta me.
