Hey everyone, I did a search in the forums and didn't find anything about Engineering in Korea. I was working on a second degree in Electrical Engineering, and I was hoping to continue it in Korea at some point.
Someone suggested KAIST (Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology) for studying.
Has anyone here studied Engineering in Korea? . |

No, but I will begin an engineering degree at SNU in 2012.
If you intend to study in Korea, you should go into the most well known universities: SNU, Yonsei, KU, KAIST or to a lesser degree POSTECH. |

I am studying Engineering in Korea. I like it a lot so if you like staying in Korea and don't mind some minor inconveniences, I think it's a pretty good choice. Of course you have to expect that not everything is perfect and that you'll miss a lot of information, some things might be in Korean even though they say it will be in English and so on, but it's not too bad as long as you have fairly thick skin. Especially for a master's degree it shouldn't be much of a problem since you can pick your courses quite freely, it's not as much pressure to get good grades and it only lasts 2 years.
Academically I would chose between SNU, KAIST or Postech, but I have the feeling that Postech might be a bit too small and far away which makes it harder socially. KU and Yonsei will probably be ok too.
Here are a couple of previous threads about studying in Korea:

If you have some specific questions, go ahead and I'm sure someone will be able to answer. |

I work for a large Engineering company out here. Have any of you guys already got companies sponsoring you or a company to go to when you graduate? We are always looking out for foreign talent with experience of Korean culture. |
