Ortiz is a brutal pitt bull w/ a chin of granite.
He don't care to dance and "box" (although he can and has good basic skills), he's in it to put u out or get rocked doing it, very exciting charismatic guy.
But the judges, sponsors, big money people et al. like Mayweather, so expect him to dance away and pitter patter the better part of each round, choosing his spots to "get rough", then duck out again. As long as Ortiz can't tag him with a coupla of his bombs, I expect the decision to be what you'd expect in a match-up between an undefeated champ and a relatively unknown up and comer.
Even should he lose, I'm with Ortiz all the way. He's got a bit of Rocky in'em, and has pulled himself up from the depths of poverty to a stage where he'll lace 'em up to do war with the champ. |

I'd hate to think that the result has already be organized in the dressing room s before the match even begun! nothing new to boxing!
I mean boxing now at this level has become Entertainment.
so much money involved, promoters looking for stories, looking for ways to sell PPV tickets, dvds, etc.. DRAMA! so entertainment is usually scripted I just hope the fight it self is not. |

Mayweather is unstoppable.
No one, including you know who, can stand with him. |

No one is unstoppable. Not Mayweather, not Manny no one.
That being said, Ortiz is a hard punching decent fighter who has a punchers chance. He quit against Maidana and got a draw aganst Lamont Peterson.
His agressive style is tailor made for Mayweather and unless Myaweathers skills have eroded, then he will lose. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if Mayweather stops him. Mayweather s a very callculating fighter and ever since the Castillo robbery, has ducked the best fighters and chosen the easiest fights to make him look like an all time great. He is a damn good fighter, belongs in the hall of fame, but anyone who thinks he is unbeatable, knows very little about boxing and boxing history.
I'd certainly love to see me proven wrong here too as I can't stand Mayweather's style as a boxer, or his actions as a human being. He's a woman beating, trash talking racist thug who will eventually spend his way into banruptcy and after he comes back for a couple paydays, will eventually lose and lose badly. |

If Mayweather was for real he'd do whatever it takes to make a fight happen with Manny.
Yet in the documentary he states that this fight with relative unknown Ortiz is to cement his legacy, and that once that is done he'll retire.
If Ali had that approach, we'd a never had the multiple match-ups with Frazier, Foreman, etc.
Also in the documentary there's a scene with Mayweather cursing out his father in his gym surrounded by all his handlers (says he has so many he doesn't know all their names). Just get the feeling that I'd love to see him planted on his behind by a flurry of Ortiz combos. |

I knew Money was an arrogant *beep* before but after seeing how he treated his father in that video was just classless, really embarrassing , he talks about just wanting respect as a man. well frankly you don't deserve any respect as a man when you beat up your wife and talk to your father like that. you are just a rude arrogant punk.
if you watch the pre fight get together with ortiz and mayweather you hear mayweather going on and on about he is the greatest athlete in the history of the world, 16 years at number 1 and un defeated. he says he wants t retire with that record as he cares a lot about that.
So sounds like he is carefully choosing his fights to be sure he never loses. to much at stake for his dream to be shattered if he losses to manny, then again maybe 40 million dollars will let me sleep at night, then of course the come back fight will generate another 40 million for him.
we will see... |

Thanks, man. Actually, I posted the vid here a few years ago, but that was before I beat Mayweather

I broke that "indestructible" right hand 3 more times since that song was made, with the latest being 8 weeks ago. Sadly, I decided to call it quits this summer.
And no, I never got the chance to make any big money. But if times ever get tough, maybe I can sell the titanium in my hand:

Oh, back on topic, my opinion is that Mayweather is essentially untouchable. He and Pac both make world-class fighters look bad, but in much different ways of course.
Pac had a hard-hitting style that fans like.
Mayweather has a safety-first, no-engagement style that is not fight fan-friendly, in my opinion of course.
Floyd fights scared and walks away with a clear 12-round decision. |
