| If I buy an E-ticket from an online agent, and I leave my home city on American Airlines and transfer to Korean Air in Chicago with a final destination of Incheon, will they through check my baggage? or will I have to pick it up in Chicago and re-check it? There is only one E-ticket number so I am assuming they transfer the baggs but I have been getting differing advice. |

Ask when you check in that they check it all the say to ICN (they should but service at American airports is bad enough that I would confirm it.)
Usually you only need to pick up your bags yourself if you are clearing customs at the layover (to change flights) or if you changing airport terminals (Philippines NAIA 1 to NAIA 3 for example).
