Dried squid is the best. It's a perfect snack food for movies because it's slow eating.

My relatives like to dip it in either pepper paste or mayonnaise. I prefer mayonnaise.

Here's something I just noticed today, because I've never bought these before. Have you ever bought those "KicKer" chocolate bars? You know, the ones that are a rip-off of Kit Kat. They've got an interesting slogan stamped on the bar itself. I think they were going for "Tid Bit", but they've put a "t" instead of the "d"....

Are you also one of those people that freaks out if a can of tuna is opened anywhere in the same house as you?

2. Hotuk - they are SOOOOOO delicious but with summer coming i may have to wait 6 months to see them again now.

I actually like the squid flavored peanut balls.

The choco pies are awesome 'cause they beat the pants off the 'wagon wheels' I used to get in Canada.

I've had bad luck with hotuk. The makers don't seem to discriminate what oil they use to fry them in. So I get sugary hotuk that tastes like fried vegetables, or whatever else was just cooked on the pan before them. Kinda ruins it. Confused

You can buy them in summer but they are hard to find. The street stalls sell them mainly in winter because of the cold. Its a warm treat. Smile

I hate the deep fried hotuk, but you can get the ones made in the cast iron plates- those are fantastic. Not at all greasy, just yummy.

ȣ(hotuk), choco pies (TWICE I've had a chocopie birthday cake...couldn't make me happier!), and those cruchy shrimp flavored things served in some bars. The are the BEST with beer...MAYBE better that pretzles! GOTTA try the choco pies in the freezer!
