I ordered off iHerb after NYCGal recommended it. I dont like ordering online either, but seeing the price diff started at 30,000 won, it was a deal breaker

iherb.com

Here, use my coupon to get a discount ADO919

You won't find muscle milk though. You don't need it anyways. It's a very "dirty" protein, which means it's loaded in fillers and sssooooo many extra calories.

Optimum Nutrition is pretty much the standard, however they've started raising their prices because they know people will still buy it.

I'm trying Dymatized now. It's cleaner, leaner, and cheaper. Taste isn't as good though.

I've heard good things about Combat Whey. It's more slow releasing, unlike ON an Dym which get in your blood stream quick. But the slow formula is good at night.

All orders take about one week.

All hail iherb!

I don't have 25 posts yet, but could anyone give directions to where they bought these? I live in Sinchon, so anyone who can give me directions to where they found it there would be great.

Or how does one get to the Damdaemun foreign goods market, from the subway station?

i was actually in the namdaemun black market on thursday and i couldn't find the old broad that i bought protein from last time and there was some guy charging 90,000KRW for 2kg of weider's powder...right when i was about to give up and go home to order off iherb, i randomly found a guy selling some cytosport 100% whey (same company that makes muscle milk, but it's not a meal replacement so there are less calories than muscle milk).

anyway, i got a 6 lbs bag for 70,000KRW, which is exactly what the MSRP is. it's worth it for the taste, imo.

oh the stop for namdaemun is hoehyeon on the blue line (right after seoul station and before myeongdong).

Thanks! Is the foreign goods market and black market the same thing? Is protein something I could find relatively quickly, or would I have to set aside a day to find it.

Sorry, I've never been there, so I have no idea what it's like or what to expect. I'm just trying to get my hands on some protein at a reasonable price ASAP.

EDIT: Found this map.

Would I be looking in the "Import Goods" area?

I got a 4kg tub of protein, a 1kg tub of creatine, and some Jack3d from iherb.com for 100,000. Sure, I have to wait a week, but it comes right to my door.

I make cheese and have alot of whey left over. In fact I've got more than I can actually use. I freeze it and try to use it up but I've still got several bottles of the stuff. You can drink it, make a shake, cook with it, whatever...
I'll give it to you for free if you come pick it up. Wink No need to spend 90,000 won for the stuff in a can.
