ya definitely. i have no idea if they've signed on for another season or not, but it really would be quite perfect to end things here. |
I feel like it can't end until Walter get his. |

Well I've already been wrong a bunch so no more predictions...
BUT, I sure am keen to find out what happens with Mike...
My goodness what a great show...
Put it this way, where's the ESL Cafe thread on Mad Men or whatever else?
Yeah. |

After a slow start, season 4 turned out to be amazing. The last 4 episodes were great. |

Perfect. I love how Walt's character has progressed from a silly half-naked fool running in the desert to such a calculating and frightening one. I'm with vDroop in that season 4 started out a bit slow but for this ending entirely worth it.
I want to toss flowers at my computer screen. |

Where does the show go from here next season? Walt and wife don't have any money left. Cancer flares up again? He continues cooking? Goes off in a completely different direction? |
it can go in sooo many different directions w/Gus' dead
an alliance w/the new Mexican Cartel that will takeover and some sort of partnership where Walt & Jesse take Gus' place stateside
the end w/the flower could point to a final confrontation or split between Walt and Jesse that didn't materialize to a breaking point this season...i honestly thought they would take Gus' character farther esp. w/the Cartel gone. nevertheless, his death was brilliant
if the Show ended w/Walt and his family returning to regular life, Jesse starting a new life and new "family" i wouldn't be disappointed...the odds of it happening is not in the favor since the reality is, theres a WHOLE lotta Meth that needs to be made and only Two guys can make it and now make more than just millions of dollars |

Industrial laundromat = super meth lab...car wash = mini-super meth lab?
I could see Walt "discovering" a spot in the car wash that would be a perfect spot for a small kitchen for him and Jesse to begin filling the GIGANTIC hole in the meth market left by the demise of the entire Mexican cartel and AZ manufacturers.
Maybe opening a few more car washes ala Chicken Bros. and start to build his own empire?
Hank put together all of the pieces a bit too late, but with Walt missing during the entire fiasco he'd be an idiot not to figure it out. However, the embarrassment of it happening right under his nose along with the fact that meth money is paying for his rehab might actually bring him into the fold as kind of an advisor for Jesse and Walt's new enterprise. |

Maybe it's the comparative politics student in me that refuses to die, but I've assumed cooption for awhile now. |

An aside from ep12, Gus' paranoid reaction in the parking lot is a lot more plausible now that we know he didn't have anything to do with the Brock's poisoning. He just realized that Walt was making moves. |

You got to remember Mike is still out there plus whoever Gus's German friends where. There was also some reason the cartel couldn't kill Gus (likely to do with his Chilean background). Walt ain't in the clear yet. |

Most likely it's Hank chasing Walt (but not knowing it's Walt).... hopefully the cartel get involved and Hank arresting Walt is seen as a way of saving Walt.
That doesn't sound as exciting as the last half of seasn 4 but I'm pretty much locked into watching the next season just for the part when Hank realises Walt is a drug lord. It will be worth it just for that |

They really shouldn't milk it. I think anything else will just be a massive anti-climax. Leave it as it is, I say. |

great episode but I was a bit disappointed that Tyrus missed the fact that there was a bomb planted on the wheelchair. We still don't know why Gus walked away from the car bomb but this time decided to walk toward the wheel chair bomb.
Anyways, I was satisfied with the finale of s04. I'm going to guess that S05 we will see Walt as the new Gus that runs his operation from his tiny office of the car wash place? |
