Hey all,
My name is Chris and I'm from the UK! I have been in Suwon for around a month now! I can finally say I'm feeling settled here and in my job too, which is amazing. I'm looking to meet some fellow expats in the Suwon area with whom to explore the city and get to know my surroundings a little better! Every soul I know here reside in Seoul so they are a weekend luxury only I'm afraid!
I'm currently in a Hagwon and I'm expecting my first pay any day now (thank god!) It's been hard to get out and about with limited funds but those days are finally over! I'm free every evening from 9pm and everyday pretty much up until 3pm! If anybody is in the same situation or would be interested in showing a newbie the sights and sounds, please shout me on here! It'd be a pleasure to make some new friends to share a bit of exploring, drinks, food with etc...
Hope you are all well.

Hello, I hope to be in Suwon here by mid November. Hopefully by then you'll have settled in and can show me around the area!
In what part of Suwon do you live / With which school are you employed ? |

There actually is a group on facebook that has people located in Dongtan, which is only about 10 - 15 minutes away from suwon. I cant really speak for a lot of the group BUT there are a couple good apples and some crazies too. lol If you want to meet some more foreigners i could post the fb link or pm you with it. Suwon isnt a bad place but its big, so what part of suwon are you at? |

Posting here would be ideal, you might find someone here. It's a small world.
