there are 2 shelters in Daegu, one of them is a cat shelter (if you scroll down).
Like I said, if you cant get a home for it I will take it there myself . I already foster/support 2 cats there every month - one more wont make a difference.

A better question is why the hell get a pet if you knew your future was uncertain?

But as commented below I did not want this cat. I like cats and will help take care of them. The ex-gf was the one who wanted it. Later when she went back home to oz, I thought she was coming back or I was going there, but broke up and I was stuck holding the cat. Actually this is the second time I have been the one holding the bag with a cat not of my choosing.

Ugh, I was in mostly the same situation. Except that in my case, the ex-gf is (to the best of my knowledge) still in Korea. Since she lives on a military base I can't exactly just leave the cat on her doorstep.

I was stupid and let her buy the cat and keep it in my place "for just a little bit." But, I definitely learned my lesson and will be wiser the next time around. Your cat stays at your place... period.

Thanks for the understanding Telly Rules.

Cat is still looking for a long term owner. Prefer someplace near Daejeon.

Will include reference letter from landlord!

Ask your friends.

Had a possibility lined up. Person asked landlord if they could have the cat. Got a no. My present landlord is nice. Plus speaks some English. He was worried at the beginning, but he has had no complaints from neighbors about the critter.

So if somebody is wanting the cat and dealing with landlord or building owner. I think a call could be helpful.

My vet takes in homeless animals from time to time. See if you can find a vet that might be able to find it a good home. Animal lovers might see her and take her home.

And she is back again. The person who foster my old cat is leaving Korea. Thus she trying to find a new home for Echo/Chewbacca. Yep a name change.

Thus the new ad.

Chewbacca is a sweet and adorable cat. She has all her shots and she is neutered. She likes spending time with a person, but it takes her a while to warm up to you. She can be quite vocal when she wants attention or water! She is playful and does well in a small apartment. She can be a little moody and quirky at times, but that is the nature of a cat. Please give this cute cat a home.

OMG Skippy!
I think you need to leave the country so that this cat doesn't keep following you around. Good on you for caring so much about an animal you ere initially stuck with.

Good Luck!
