It will certainly get you arrested and sued for causing distress and damage to a business if not an exit order for activities outside your status of sojourn.
You are not in the states any more. Truth is not a defense.

I know that activities not directly permitted by your visa, particularly those of a political nature, are not allowed. However, why would the OP get arrested for damaging a business when bank employees (to pick one example) picket by the dozen in front of headquarters? Is this a case of the law being applied selectively (ie the bank employees' union is stronger than one person)? |

The bank comparison doesn't really fit. We are foreigners, like guests. Despite my "slave" rants about how we are treated sometimes, we can choose to be in Korea or leave.
So, protesting as a "false expatriate" is not going to fly in a country where you have to advance your visa status in order to be given some rights which your typical E2 visa holder won't have. |

Best form or protest I ever saw was a teacher who got the school parent e-mail list before leaving and sent them an e-mail detailing why he left for Canada and why they should take their money elsewhere. This included safety violations at the school. He also filed a tax complaint . He had his Korean girlfriend translate everything for him.
Another guy, whose boss fired him illegally yet refused to pay the labor board, lied about the day he was leaving, and created small cards with the boss's photo pasted on the body of some model, saying what was wrong at the school. He tossed hundreds of them on the ground in front of the school 10 minutes before his airplane bus arrived to take him to Incheon. |

All nice but don't do it if you are staying in Korea.
The liabilities are too expensive and immigration will take your passport and refuse to let you depart if there are pending legal issues.
Do it on your way out of the country (never to return) or save it for another day.
