the best club is subjective based on what you are looking for. size, music type, clientele, how much you want to spend, etc.

yes there are always international dj's playing here. the bigger clubs frequently headline them.

to start the nite i'd suggest bottles of soju and a open mind for whatever might come.

Best Club is subjective. The most popular clubs can be easily quantified.

Ellui, Eden, Mass, Answer, 88 in Gangnam/apgujeong area are always popular

Luv Superlounge, Rococo, Volume, JJ's at the Hyatt are the 3 clubs in Itaewon that serve a more upscale crowd.

I'm not too sure about Hongdae: maybe M2.

I'm sure more people can add to that list.

I know there are a ton of clubs out there. Some clubs dirtier than others (UN Club, Helios, FF, NB, Gogos, etc...)

Generally speaking I party far too much, but that swarm is a party I avoid like the plague.

I used to hit JJ's on Namsan, but the place is too overrun with working girls and way too expensive to be much fun (15K for a Heineken, 24K for a G&T...Ho bar it ain't).

So, past few years I've been hitting up some of the jazz venues, with a few bottles of wine and a nice stogie.

http://partyluv.com/

This is the best site Korea has to offer for stuff like this. Most of the tabs are in English so it's pretty easy to navigate.

I think the biggest party this year will probably be Far East Movement and co. at the W hotel. GET THERE EARLY. A few years ago some friends of mine got there at 11 and had to wait in line for an hour to get in.
