just curious if anyone happens to know what would happen if:
1. In the case of it being a hacked paypal account,
you withdraw the payment from your own account straight away so when the real account holder finds out and tells Paypal, there are no funds in your account to be returned. I know it's not ethical, I'm just wondering what if. Do Paypal chase you up for it?
2. If they are planning to do the 'chargeback' thing and claim you didn't send it to their verified email address:
What if you disregard their request to send it to "the nephew in California" or whoever and send it directly to their verified address. Then they can't ask for a refund and you have sold your item for the asking price. |
