I've met a few who ask that and match up my O-type with my personality. But I've never met anyone who takes it seriously. |

I was asked on two separate occasions whether or not I had AIDS. |

Just think of it as horoscopes back home.
Most people just know it for fun. Some people take it seriously.
I think its a fun conversation topic when you meet someone new. |

While working in Japan I met a girl who seemed dead keen on me until she asked my blood-type and I couldn't tell her. I tried to tell her that I never had a need to know but she was appalled.
The Japanese take it very seriously!
Although I think I dodged a bullet there. Anyone who strongly believes that personality is affected by blood-type would probably not rub along with me for any length of time...
.........and I still don't know what my blood type is!! I found out a few years ago while doing a health check-up, but I've forgotten. |

ANOTHER reason to avoid Korean women! Blood types?! Seriously? Why don't they just read my palm, or disembowl a stray cat, and get on with it?
These reasons are starting to really add up
Now if we were talking Myers-Briggs types, I'd be considerably more impressed. |

Not entirely sure if you are a troll or actually serious.
How is Korean women believing in blood types any different than a Western girl believing in astrology or tarot cards? How is this any more silly?
Sounds like your doing Korean women favour by sparing them your existence, not the other way around.
As a side note, the whole blood type thing actually has its roots in Nazism. The Japanese imported the theory in the 1930's in an effort to breed better soldiers. I don't think many young Koreans are aware that this is where the theory comes from. |

I think you kind of answered your own question. |

I don't think the source makes it any crazier or silly. Astrology has equally nonsense origins.
If anything, being duped by the more modern Nazi "science" seems more reasonable than astrology. |

And once again sarcasm fails on the Internet. Here I thought adding the part about disemboweling cats would make it obvious. I guess for some people it's NEVER obvious. Is it double bonus points for somehow involving the Nazis too?

I think PatrickGBusan has already beaten you to the punch on that assertion. They're all yours. Enjoy. |

From your previous posts about dating, I find it hard to believe you were being sarcastic.
So because you never dated a Western girl that believed in astrology means they don't exist?
Plenty of girls are into zodiac and I think that is far more ridiculous than believing that your blood type could have an effect on one's personality. |

Far more ridiculous, eh?
Where did you meet these foreign women? At a Wiccan convention?
There seems to be a simple answer, doesn't there? Don't date girls who are into either!
Unfortunately that will leave you with about a 5% pool of Korean girls to date. I have never dated any foreign girl who was into tarot or star signs. |
